12/14/2009 Hi Hatieboo
Personally, I would not use Marijuana as suggested by "Woser". Last I heard, the U.S. Federal law still has Marijuana as an illegal substance. There are a limited number of States that have approved using Marijuana for medical purposes. But, since the Federal Law still has Marijuana as illegal, there is a big "no man's land" out there as how law enforcement officials would handle someone caught using Marijuana even for medical purposes.
There is a special Board which covers people dealing with side-effects of
Axona. It is "POPULAR TOPICS" and is one of the Boards listed. Try checking out the following:
POPULAR TOPICS AND AXONA
You may also want to check with your Mother's doctor about what you could do to help your Mother deal with the nausea. I do not have a medical field background. But, would any of the drugs given people to deal with the nausea from certain cancer treatments maybe help your Mother? Her doctor may be able to help you.
My Mom is too far along in her Alzheimer's dementia to try
Axona. I hope you are able to find something to help your Mother and her nausea.
